As a mother, I love birthday parties. I would look forward to my children’s birthdays since I would put my self out to make these celebrations extra special. Today my youngest “child” Xoop Homes marks a very special milestone. She turns 1. What a year it has been. What began as a dream is now a reality. Xoop Homes has grown into a place where travelers from around the world have found comfort, relaxation, and unforgettable memories in the heart of beautiful Antigua.
To be honest, I never saw myself in hospitality but today I would not have it any other way. Over the past year, we have had the privilege of welcoming families celebrating birthdays, couples receiving promosals for marriage, solo adventurers taking a brief rest, business travelers just needing a relaxing place after a busy day, and returning guests who chose Xoop Homes as their Caribbean home away from home. Every booking has brought new friendships, inspiring stories, and the opportunity to share the warmth and hospitality that Antigua is known for.
From the very beginning, our vision has been simple: to provide more than just a place to stay. If I would want to stay here, someone else would too. We wanted to create a peaceful retreat where guests could wake up to the beauty of the Cedar Valley, explore our island’s rich culture, enjoy the sun, sea, and sand, and leave feeling refreshed and cared for.
I learned a lot this first year and I have blessed with some really thoughtful, funny and interesting guest. He truth is they trusted us with their vacation and they encouraged us to improve. We took many of their suggestions to heart and made countless improvements.
As we celebrate this anniversary, we also pause to thank everyone who has worked behind the scenes. My family has been such a source of encouragement. Yes, they cleaned the toilets, cut the grass, answered midnights calls and many more not so glamourous tasks too numerous to mention. They had one goal in mind—to provide an exceptional experience for every visitor.
Looking ahead, we are excited about the future. We remain committed to offering outstanding hospitality, creating memorable guest experiences, and continuing to showcase the beauty, culture, and charm of Antigua. We look forward to welcoming many new guests while reconnecting with those who have already become part of the Xoop Homes family.
